The Role
We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Goldsmith to join our expanding in-house workshop team, we are looking for a passionate candidate with a genuine ‘can-doʼ attitude to help push our business further.

Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years industry experience
- Track record of working with all 4 precious metals.
- Central stone setting, using a variety of techniques (claw, channel set, and rub-over styles)
- Melee setting, in a variety of styles (cut-down, pave, fishtail etc)
- Microsetting experience is essential
- Experienced in setting all gemstone varieties
- Proven metal-smithing skills working to a high standard in saw piercing, polishing, forging and soldering
- Confident with jobbing and bespoke work
- Experience working from blank castings.
- Able to take the initiative and work self-directed from specification sheets
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, managing your own time/production line to complete tasks to a strict deadline within a tidy environment
Desirable Traits & Additional Skills
- Experience in laser welding would be preferable.
- Ability to read and understand CAD
- Ensure confidentiality in relation to customer and company data and information.
- To assist account managers with their expert knowledge when required which may involve drawing designs, translating customers ideas and advising on the practicalities of certain designs/materials.
- This role will involve providing estimates when needed.
- To inspire and provide their knowledge of the workshop and the different processes and stages involved in designing and repairing jewellery items, which will improve staff development.
To be successful you will need a genuine passion for jewellery, be ready to learn new manufacturing techniques and be eager to push yourself beyond your comfort zone.
This role is the ideal opportunity for the right applicant to pass on their knowledge and skill to progress into the Workshop Manager position.
Successful candidates will be offered a 3 month trial after which the salary will be reviewed depending on skills and performance demonstrated.
